Understanding the Words of Jesus

Missio Veritas is a seminary focused on Jesus and his teachings.

Some seminaries and degrees have an emphasis on theology about Jesus. Our degrees focus on the words of Jesus. We want to know what Jesus believed, what Jesus taught, and how we can obey him more fully and teach others to do the same. We will primarily approach him as disciples. Jesus is not a laboratory project to merely be talked about. Rather, he is our Lord and teacher to learn from.

We offer the following degree focused on the words of Jesus:

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ because you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters. Do not call anyone on earth your father, because you have one Father, who is in heaven. You are not to be called instructors either, because you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
